Solis along with the County’s Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and the City of West Covina held a rapid response job fair and information session to urgently connect more than 200 individuals, laid off due to the closure of the Walmart Supercenter in West Covina, with critical workforce and supportive services including unemployment insurance benefits, rental and mortgage assistance, Covered California medical insurance, training and job placement assistance, and more.
