Same-Day Civil Ceremonies on Valentine’s Day at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk in Norwalk

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced the RR/CC will perform same-day marriage licenses and civil ceremonies at the Norwalk Headquarters on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14, between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Same-day marriage licenses and ceremonies are only available at the Norwalk HQ. While no appointment is required, couples are encouraged to complete the online Marriage License Application before they visit to expedite the process.

The fee for a wedding ceremony is $35, and the fee to purchase a marriage license is $91 for a public license and $85 for a confidential license.

RR/CC will provide a dedicated space for media to capture content and speak to the newlyweds.
