First Post-Election Ballot Count Update for the November 7 Local and Municipal Elections

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced the first post-election ballot count update for the November 7 Local and Municipal Elections.

The update includes 1,323 ballots processed since Election Night. The total election results count is now 5,710 which is 17.99% of registered voters. Election results can be viewed on LAVOTE.GOV.

There are 100 outstanding Vote by Mail ballots left to be processed. These ballots are pending signature cures from voters whose signature was missing or did not match their registration record. These voters have been notified with instructions on how to cure their ballot to be counted.

The RR/CC prioritizes the timely processing, verifying, and counting of outstanding ballots in the Official Election Canvass. The next post-election ballot count will be on Friday, November 17 when the RR/CC is scheduled to certify the election results.
