In continued efforts to educate communities about the benefits of owning an electric vehicle, LA County Library, County of Los Angeles Internal Services Department, and Southern California Edison will host a family friendly event that features opportunities for attendees to explore electric vehicles, speak to electric vehicles drivers, practice using a charging station, and learn about incentives to owning an electric vehicle.

The County of Los Angeles Internal Services Department partnered with LA County Library to install an EV charging station at Lancaster Library in April 2022 as part of its sustainability plan to install 5,000 charging stations at County facilities by 2025.
