With $1.8m Grant & Matching Funds, LACOFD will Become Largest U.S. Public Safety Agency with Mechanical CPR Devices on Every Paramedic Unit

Thanks to $1.5 million in funding through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program, along with an additional $240,000 in matching funds from the LA County Fire Foundation (Foundation), the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) will become the largest public safety agency in the United States to have mechanical cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) devices on every paramedic unit.  read more
