Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Announces 213 Couples Were Married on Valentine’s Day
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced 213 couples were married on Valentine’s Day.
- 140 couples took advantage of the RR/CC’s same-day marriage license and civil ceremony services at the Norwalk office
- 73 couples were married at the RR/CC field offices located throughout Los Angeles County
“It was a pleasure to see so many couples celebrate their love story on Valentine’s Day at our Norwalk pop-up chapels, as well as at our branch office locations,” said Logan. “We understand some couples prefer an intimate setting for their civil ceremony and we’re proud to make their day a little more special.”
Marriage licenses and civil ceremonies continue to be conducted on an appointment-based model. Couples looking to make an appointment can visit LAVOTE.GOV for more information.
