Semi-Final Results Announced for the State Senate District 36 Special Primary Election
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced the semi-final results for the February 25, 2025 State Senate District 36 Special Primary Election.
A total of 5,607 ballots were processed and counted, with 10.87% of registered voters casting ballots.
Election results for Los Angeles County can be found at LAVOTE.GOV. State Senate District 36 spans both Los Angeles County and Orange County; results for Orange County are available at OCVOTE.GOV.
During the Official Election Canvass, all Vote by Mail postmarked by Election Day and Conditional and Provisional ballots received on Election Day are processed and verified. Once verified, they will be counted.
The first post-Election Day ballot count update is scheduled for Friday, February 28. The full schedule of ballot counting updates is available on the Canvass Update Schedule.
