Los Angeles County Residents Are Encouraged to Provide Recommendations on Care First and Community Investment (CFCI) Funding Plan This Month
LOS ANGELES – The Care First and Community Investment (CFCI) Advisory Committee is seeking recommendations from the community to allocate funding into projects that uplift the mission of CFCI and Measure J through direct community investment and alternatives to incarceration, especially in chronically under-resourced communities across Los Angeles County. The CFCI Advisory Committee will review proposals for community-driven, department-supported, and/or third-party administrator-supported program/project recommendations to receive one-time funding from unspent CFCI funds. Program/project recommendations must align with CFCI’s values, support system-impacted populations, and be ready to implement immediately with completion in 36 months.
The CFCI Project Recommendation form is now open and receiving submissions until 11:59 PM on July 7, 2025. Please note that submission of this recommendation form does not guarantee funding for a program/project.
