JCOD to Celebrate Launch of First All-Female Cohort of Firefighter Training Program
LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) will host a special Second Chance Month event to celebrate the launch of Cohort 2 of the Firefighter Training Program, featuring the programs’ first-all female group of cadets.
The event, Building Futures, will take place at the Los Angeles County Training Center (LACTC) and will highlight the residential job training program that prepares participants for careers in fire service.

When: Monday, April 28, 2025, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
