Thirteenth Post-Election Night Ballot Count Update for the 2024 General Election
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced the thirteenth post-Election Night ballot count update for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
The update includes 12,802 ballots processed since Election Night.
The total election results count is now 3,788,531, which is 66.04% of registered voters. Election results can be viewed on LAVOTE.GOV.
The next ballot count update will be on Tuesday, November 26. The full schedule of updates can be viewed on the Canvass Update Schedule.
The estimate of outstanding ballots to be processed is 19,700. All remaining ballots to be processed are either pending voter response and signature verification or Conditional ballots that are pending voter eligibility and verification through the statewide voter registration database. Not all of these ballots will qualify to be counted.
Outstanding estimates are Countywide and are not currently available by jurisdiction as ballots are received and processed in batches throughout the county. The RR/CC prioritizes the timely processing, verification, and counting of all outstanding ballots in the Official Election Canvass.
The Official Election Canvass is a 30-day period in which the RR/CC processes and verifies all outstanding ballots to ensure that every eligible ballot cast by Election Day is counted.
