Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Pleads No Contest in Off-Duty Hit-and-Run Crash in 2018

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Orlando Sotomayor Flores pleaded no contest on October 8 in case BA488122 to one felony count of reckless driving involving alcohol, causing injury; and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run causing injury after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10 in the city of Covina that injured one person in March 2018. read more
