Mobile Vote Center Coming to Los Angeles General Medical Center: Empowering Staff and Patients to Exercise Their Right to Vote

LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles General Medical Center is proud to announce the arrival of a Mobile Vote Center on-site, providing both staff and patients with the opportunity to cast their ballots for the upcoming election. This initiative aims to make voting more accessible, ensuring that even those with healthcare responsibilities or medical needs can participate in the democratic process. This service is open to all eligible voters, including hospital staff, patients, and their visitors, offering a critical civic service directly on the medical campus.

  • Voting Services Available: Early voting, same-day voter registration, and secure ballot drop-off.

As a level one trauma center with one of the busiest emergency departments in the United States, we want to ensure that our staff have the opportunity to participate in this vital civic duty.”

Visiting the Mobile Vote Center

Media representatives are invited to cover this important event while adhering to the guidelines established by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC). To facilitate effective coverage, please notify us in advance of your arrival.

Media Guidelines:

  • Media members are allowed to take photos and videos of the Vote Center’s exterior and interior, as well as conduct interviews with voters outside the center, provided that voter privacy is respected.
  • Photos or videos of occupied Ballot Marking Devices (BMDs) and voted ballots before they are cast are strictly prohibited to protect voter confidentiality.
  • Please RSVPin advance to ensure smooth coordination.

Los Angeles General Medical Center is an over 600-bed, Level One Trauma Center and an academic teaching hospital run by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS).
