Suspects Filmed After Attempting to Transfer Contraband

No Contraband Found at the Scene

Los Angeles – On Sunday, August 18th, 2024, two persons were observed and filmed near the Los Angeles County Probation Department’s Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall. In the smartphone video, the person filming states, “they are escaping.” The Los Angeles County Probation Department has confirmed that the persons in the film were not Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall youth. The two persons in the video are suspected of attempting to throw contraband over the juvenile hall wall. An interior and exterior check was conducted, and no contraband was found at the scene. No services were impacted by this incident, including visiting which occurred in a timely manner at the facility.
