Vote Centers Will Open This Weekend for the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election

119 Vote Centers will open February 24, 2024, to kick off the first weekend of early in-person voting

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced 119 Vote Centers will open this Saturday, February 24, for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

Vote Centers will be open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM to vote in person. A full list and map of Vote Center locations is available online at LOCATOR.LAVOTE.GOV.

Every registered voter was mailed a postcard listing the nearest 11-day and 4-day Vote Centers to their residence. Voters can visit any location to vote or drop off their ballot.

First-time voters who missed the registration deadline can visit any Vote Center, complete a Conditional Voter Registration, and cast a ballot in this election. Voters can also update their registration information, including their party affiliation, to receive their preferred party’s ballot or request a crossover ballot.

The ballot in this election is extensive and includes contests and candidates from the neighborhood and local levels through state offices, measures, and federal representatives. Voters are encouraged to review their ballot carefully and vote early.

Before arrival, media who want to visit a Vote Center should notify the RR/CC using the Media at the Vote Center Request Form.

The RR/CC has created the 2024 Presidential Primary Election Media Kit, offering media professionals vital information on voting options, key timelines, and resources for thorough election coverage.

Voters who plan to vote in person can save time using the Interactive Sample Ballot. This optional tool allows voters to review and mark their selections on their smartphone or computer and instantly transfer their votes at a Vote Center with their Poll Pass (QR Code). Voters can learn more at LAVOTE.GOV.

The quickest method to participate in this election is to return the Vote by Mail ballot by mail (no postage required) or in person at any Official Ballot Drop Box or Vote Center location.
