39th Annual Women of the Year Commemorative Celebration Honorees: “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion”

On Monday, March 18, 2024, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and the Commission for Women will hold its 39th Annual Women of the Year Awards and Commemorative Celebration, “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.” This year we will honor 16 exceptional women who have diligently worked to better the lives of women in Los Angeles County.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles in downtown Los Angeles, 711 S. Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90017, in the beautiful California Ballroom. Registration and check-in will open at 10:30 a.m. and the event will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. This year the following women will be recognized for their work to bring about social and economic change:

District Award

First District:
Stephanie Wiggins, CEO of Metro

Second District:
Dr. Elaine Batchlor, CEO, Los Angeles County MLK Community Healthcare

Third District:
Kim Lamorie, President, Las Virgenes Homeowners Federation, Inc.
of the Santa Monica Mountains

Fourth District:

Fifth District:
