Los Angeles County’s new Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) has earned six Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo).

LA County residents learned how to save a life using Hands-Only CPR. Medical professionals from the Emergency Medical Services Agency, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department and the American Heart Association gathered at Grand Park to teach the public CPR using only their hands.

The Los Angeles County Executive Office of the Board of Supervisors has been recognized with three Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo). The awards honor innovative, effective County government programs that strengthen services for residents.

A new mural was unveiled in Pico-Robertson honoring the Jewish community, presented by the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations’ initiative LA vs Hate, in partnership with the Los Angeles chapter of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
