Los Angeles County will close all of its buildings to the public effective Monday, March 16, as a precautionary measure to help slow the spread of COVID-19, Board of Supervisors Chair Kathryn Barger announced Sunday.

LOS ANGELES –Today’s 2020 Census Kick Off Press Event has been postponed. In lieu of a press conference, the County of LA, the City of Long Beach, and community-based organization partners will still have a LIMITED media availability and will be offering a first look at the 2020 LA County Census Experience. Today is the first day that the public can fill out their 2020 Census and we encourage the media to help us spread the word!
