Budget & Legislation

The Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations Branch of the Los Angeles County Chief Executive Office (CEO-LAIR) is the focal point for coordination of legislative policy and strategy for the County. At the direction of the Board of Supervisors and in collaboration with County departments, CEO-LAIR develops the County's legislative priorities and policies annually for consideration by the Board, and analyzes and advocates on Federal and State legislative and budget proposals throughout the year. The County's advocacy is handled on a day-to-day basis by the Sacramento and Washington, D.C. offices.
