JCOD Seeks Community Reviewers for Fourth CFCI Funding Round Supporting Native American Indian Communities
LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is seeking qualified community reviewers to support the application review process for Program Area 47 of the fourth round of Care First Community Investment (CFCI) funding opportunities.
Program Area 47 focuses on Family and Community Supports in partnership with the LA City/County Native American Indian Commission and includes programs serving American Indian, Alaskan Native and Indigenous communities across Los Angeles County.
The funding opportunity supports services and programs focused on family-centered support, mental and behavioral health, job placement, higher education access and financial awareness efforts designed to strengthen communities and address longstanding disparities.
JCOD and the Round 4 CFCI third-party administrator are seeking reviewers with experience working with community-based organizations and historically underserved populations. Individuals with lived experience and expertise working with American Indian, Alaskan Native and Indigenous communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selected reviewers will receive a stipend for their participation. Additional information regarding reviewer training, scoring criteria, timelines and review assignments will be provided following selection. Participation in reviewer training will be required.
Individuals interested in serving as a reviewer can complete the reviewer interest form here.
Interested reviewers should also submit a resume to TPAgrants@amityfdn.org.
The Round 4 CFCI third-party administrator will begin reviewing submissions May 27 and will continue until all reviewer positions are filled.
