Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes Are Closed for the 2025 Statewide Special Election
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced that Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes are closed for the 2025 Statewide Special Election.
Election Day Result Announcements:
The RR/CC anticipates the first set of election results will be released between 8:30 PM and 8:45 PM. These times are subject to fluctuation.
- 1st Results, 8:30-8:45 PM: Vote by Mail ballots returned before Election Day.
- 2nd Results, 8:45-9:00 PM: Ballots cast at a Vote Center before Election Day.
- 3rd Results, 9:00-10:00 PM: Additional Vote by Mail ballots cast before Election Day.
- 4th and Recurring Results, 10:00 PM: Ballots cast at a Vote Center on Election Day.
Live election results will be available at RESULTS.LAVOTE.GOV.
When Vote Centers close, Election Workers will complete their closing procedures and deliver their ballots to Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies at a designated Check-in Center. Sheriff Deputies then transport ballots from the Check-in Center to the Ballot Processing Center to be processed and counted.
