Statement Regarding Criminal Charges Filed Against Former Department Employee

LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is aware that a former department employee has been charged in a criminal case relating to alleged conduct that occurred prior to the creation of JCOD. The alleged conduct is unrelated to any JCOD programs or services. JCOD expects all employees to meet the highest standards of integrity and comply with all County policies and applicable laws. JCOD cannot comment further on individual personnel matters.
