LACDMH Celebrates Juneteenth & Pride with Two Events for Black & LGBTQIA2-S+ Communities
Large-scale events encourage underserved communities to promote mental wellbeing, build resilience & inclusiveness
WHAT:
The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) will kick off its 2025 Take Action for Mental Health L.A. County campaign at St. Anne’s Conference and Event Center and preview its May is Mental Health Awareness Month events.
With nine Countywide events taking place throughout May, the Take Action for Mental Health L.A. County campaign encourages residents and those within their circle to take action for their mental health.
This year, the Department of Mental Health is partnering with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Football Club, Univision and Meruelo Media to spread the message of promoting wellbeing, destigmatizing mental illness and raising awareness of mental health resources available through LACDMH.
