Public Health to Provide Health Guidance as Triple-Digit Heat Forecast
As temperatures are forecast to reach rise into triple digits this weekend, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health urges everyone to take precautions to avoid heat-related illness, such as heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and heat cramps.
Dr. Anish Mahajan will discuss precautions that can be taken by residents, workers, and vulnerable populations to be safe and healthy in extreme heat.
Jose Escobar, Regional Health Officer, will provide information in Spanish.

Federal Communication Commission rules under Section 255 of the Communications Act require telecommunications service providers to make their products and services accessible to people with disabilities, if such access is readily achievable. Where access is not readily achievable, service providers must make their devices and services compatible with peripheral devices and specialized customer premises equipment that are commonly used by people with disabilities, if such compatibility is readily available.

County at any time for emergency preparedness information and other referral services. The toll-free 2-1-1 number is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
