Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center Maintains its Position as a Frontrunner in LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality
Downey, CA – Rancho Los Amigos is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a leading institution in LGBTQ+ healthcare equality for the year 2024. This recognition comes from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Healthcare Equality Index (HEI), where Rancho has once again achieved a perfect score of 100, earning the esteemed title of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader.” This acknowledgment highlights Rancho’s unwavering commitment to providing inclusive and affirming care to all patients, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
The HEI is a premier benchmarking survey in the nation, meticulously evaluating healthcare facilities’ policies and practices to promote equitable treatment and inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals.
