LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is excited to announce it will be hosting a special Father’s Day event called “Father’s Day CARE: Celebrating Advocacy, Resilience and Empathy.”

This event is completely free to the public and designed to honor justice-involved fathers and their families, providing an afternoon of celebration, support, resources, food, and entertainment.

Father’s Day CARE is taking place on Sunday, June 9, from noon to 4 p.m. at Earvin “Magic” Johnson Community Center, located at 905 E. El Segundo Blvd., Los Angeles, 90059.

The event will feature a variety of vital resources such as on-site hiring, expungement  and re-entry services, entertainment for all ages, resource booths, food and more.
